I began my acting journey in the mid seventies at Shoreline Community College in Seattle, Washington. From there I went to Hawaii and enrolled in the Honolulu Academy of Theatre Arts performing in several small local productions. After leaving the academy I found my calling in stand up comedy.
I moved to San Francisco and became an integral part of the comedy scene while also studying and performing improvisation with, The Committee.
I took my stand up act on the road, headlining clubs and colleges throughout the United States and Canada. I moved to New York City in the mid eighties and became a regular at The Original Improvisation and Comedy Cellar,During this time I studied acting for over four years with the late Gene Frankel. Besides acting in numerous independent and feature films, I am a voice actor.
